Vancouver Canucks announced 2026-2027 season schedule
The Vancouver Canucks have officially announced their full schedule for the 2026-27 season.
The team released the schedule Thursday through a social media video. Hockey influencers Pavel Barber (@heybarber) and Zac Bell (@alwayshockey) competed through a series of Canucks-opponent-themed trickshots to reveal the upcoming season.
Vancouver opens the season with two games versus Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers. Their first game will be on the road at Rogers Place on September 29. The home opener takes place two days later on October 1.
The team’s most gruelling test comes in January of the new year. Their longest road-trip of the season consists of seven games over 13 days.
Ex-Canucks captain Quinn Hughes returns to Rogers Arena to face his former team on October 25. It will be the first time Hughes plays in Vancouver since being traded to the Minnesota Wild in December 2025. Hughes won Olympic gold alongside his brother Jack at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
A few other fan-favourites will be making their first trip back to the city after being traded last season.
Conor Garland and the Columbus Blue Jackets come to town on January 16. Garland was traded to Columbus in March 2026. He tallied 221 points across 371 games in just over four years in Vancouver.
Tyler Myers will return after being traded to the Dallas Stars last season. The 36-year-old defenseman sat out the three games before being traded in March. He scored 138 points in 488 games in over 6 years with the Canucks.
The Canucks will close out the regular season on April 10, 2027 against the Calgary Flames. It will be the final regular season game at the Saddledome.
